Students will be instructed on basic workplace safety to include the recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety or health hazards on the jobsite with specific emphasis on OSHA-10 safety training and electrical safety and rigging. Training will include contextualized construction mathematics and basic communication and employability skills, blueprint reading, proper circuit sizes, grounding methods and ground fault circuitry, knowledge of wiring, current, inductance and materials.
