Contact Hour Total:48 A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. The content of this course focuses on principles and concepts of mental health , psychopathology and treatment modalities on clients and their families at mental health sites. The content of this course will assist the student to develop their role as a member of the profession in providing patient-centered care, while emphasizing patient safety and advocacy and collaboration among the health care team.
