Credit Hours:3 Lecture Hours:3 Lab Hours:2 Contact Hour Total:80 Preparation for certification as an Emergency Care Attendant (ECA)/Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). The student will display a working knowledge of clinical information and related topics relevant to the practice of pre-hospital emergency medical care at the EMR level; demonstrate the ability to competently perform all applicable skills; and exhibit attitudes and behavior consistent with the ethics and professionalism expected of the emergency care attendant.
Prerequisite(s): A student must be college ready according to TSI college-ready standards.
