Credit Hours:3 Lecture Hours:3 Contact Hour Total:48 Review and application of skills in reading and writing. Emphasizes vocabulary acquisition, reading, composition, and culture. Designed for individuals with oral proficiency in Spanish, these courses are considered equivalent to SPAN 2311 and SPAN 2312. This course is a sequel to SPAN 2313 for native Spanish speakers and individuals who have learned Spanish and are fluent in the language. This course will emphasize reading comprehension and literary analysis at a more sophisticated level. Particular attention will be given to spelling, simple and compound tenses and expansion of the students’ vocabulary. This course will allow students to reactivate the Spanish they have learned previously and develop it further, and it will help them learn more about their language and cultural heritage.
Prerequisite(s): Native Spanish speakers or individuals who have learned Spanish and are fluent in the language.
