Singing more difficult tonal music including modal, ethnic, and 20th century materials. Aural study, including dictation of more complex rhythm, melody, chromatic harmony, and extended tertian structures. Advanced study of sight singing and ear training for the music major, including dictation of chord progressions and singing advanced melodies at sight. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in MUSI 1217 Corequisite(s): Music majors must also be enrolled in MUSI 2211 , MUSI 2181 , music major lessons and parent ensemble.
