Singing tonal music in treble, bass, alto, and tenor clefs. Aural study, including dictation, of rhythm, melody, and diatonic harmony. A continuing study of elementary sight singing and ear training for the music major in which the student learns to apply aurally the skills which are learned in music theory, including dictation of musical phrases and singing simple melodies at sight. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in MUSI 1216  Corequisite(s): Music majors should also be enrolled in MUSI 1212 , MUSI 1182 , music major lessons and parent ensemble.
