This degree introduces students to basic concepts of architecture, technology, mathematics, building principles, and project management – which are important components in all stages of construction technology. An introduction to building codes, electrical and mechanical systems, construction planning, site work, and heavy machines is incorporated into award courses. Moreover, the degree prepares students to transfer to major four year colleges/universities.

Core Component: 42 Credit Hours


Communication: 6 Credit Hours


Mathematics: 3 Credit Hours


Life and Physical Sciences: 6 Credit Hours


If any overflow hours are earned from Life and Physical Sciences, they will be applied to the Component Area Option.
