Texas History is a survey of the history of Texas from the prehistory of the state to the present day. Emphasis is placed on the periods of European exploration, Anglo-American settlement, the Texas Revolution and Republic and development of a modern state. The cultural, economic, ethnic, political and social history will be studied. 48 contact hours. Credit: Three semester hours.
