Themes that should be addressed in Western Civilization I include the cultural legacies of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, Byzantium, Islamic civilizations, and Europe through the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Reformations. Prerequisite(s):HIST 1301 or HIST 1302 or permission of the Dean or designee. A student must be college ready in reading according to TSI college-ready standards.
