This degree is designed and intended primarily for students planning to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree in the field of biology. Students take courses in biology, mathematics, chemistry, and physics common to most biology-related disciplines and continue their studies in specialized areas after transferring to a university program.
