Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Present written material in oral fonn to an audience.
  2. Apply elements for critically evaluating performances.
  3. Edit literature by correctly preparing selections for performance.
  4. Select literature that shares a common theme.
  5. Construct appropriate introductions for oral interpretive literature.
  6. Construct necessary transitions for oral interpretive programs.
  7. Analyze both the audience and the literature so the conventions of audience response arc met.
  8. Identify the three genres ofliterature.
  9. Analyze in either written or oral form the merits and values of the 3 literary genres.
