Application of advanced concepts and skills in the development of the professional nurse’s roles with adult patients and families involving multiple body systems. Emphasis on advanced knowledge, judgments, skills and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. This course focuses on clients with common complex health concerns. The content of this course will assist the student to develop their role as a member of the profession in providing patient-centered care, while emphasizing patient safety and advocacy and collaboration among the health care team. Prerequisite(s): RNSG 1343 , RNSG 2261 , RNSG 1412 , and RNSG 2161  Corequisite(s): Generic and LVN-T: RNSG 2121 , RNSG 2262 , and RNSG 2263
