English 0307 applies the principles of grammar and mechanics to the writing of complete essays by introducing students to the process of prewriting, researching, writing, editing, and proofreading the multi-paragraph paper. Additionally, English 0307 is paired with a credit course ENGL 1301 ; learning activities will support writing and learning for the paired course. Prerequisite(s): Appropriate scores on the TSIA or completion of DIRW 325 with a grade of “C” or better or completion of READ 305 and ENGL 320 with C or better, or completion of ESOL 335 and ESOL 324 with C or better.
