Introduce students to the evaluation, design, and advanced space planning of commercial environments with consideration for sustainability, accessibility, adaptation, safety, and support of the user(s) and the application of this knowledge to comprehensive studio projects. Students will gain an understanding of the development of the design program and identification of client/user needs, space planning, and ADA and commercial design codes and standards.

Prerequisite(s): Successful completion or concurrently enrolled in ARTS 1311.
