A study of the major issues in the philosophy of religion such as the existence and nature of God, the relationships between faith and reason, the nature of religious language, religious experience, and the problem of evil. The course surveys basic religious issues such as the existence and nature of God, religious and mystical experience, miracles, immorality, and the meaning of religious language and symbols.

Prerequisite(s): A student must be college ready in reading according to TSI college-ready standards.
