Includes all the skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at a basic life support level with an ambulance service or other specialized services. The student will display a working knowledge of clinical information and related topics relevant to the practice of pre-hospital emergency medical care of the EMT-Basic level; demonstrate the ability to competently perform all applicable skills; and exhibit attitudes and behavior consistent with the ethics and professionalism expected of the EMT-Basic.
