Students will study the nature of assets, liabilities, and owners’ equity while learning to use reported financial information for purposes of making decisions about the company.     An instructional program designed to integrate on-campus study with practical hands-on experience in forensic anthropology. In conjunction with class seminars, the individual student will set specific goals and objectives in forensic anthropology as part of the study of human social behavior and/or social institutions. The introductory course has been designed for lower-division, college-level students with complex terminology kept to a minimum. Only basic anatomical terms from Gray’s Anatomy are used. The course is devised to introduce a student to osteology and to issues surrounding the death of an individual, specifically, determining the demographics of a skeleton and the time since death either from partially or fully decomposed remains. Topics can also include recovery scene methods, contemporary versus non-contemporary remains, attribution of sex, estimation of age at death, projectile trauma, blunt trauma, sharp trauma, burn trauma, animal modification and postmortem changes to bone.
